Our interest in growing grapes started with our love of wine, agriculture, and family.

We are proud to be a family owned and run start up operation. Planting our

first vines in the spring of 2006, we set out to not only grow the best quality grapes

for select Midwest wineries, but also to share our experience and love

of grapes with all that visit. Wine makers and wine lovers alike can come

and enjoy our picturesque vineyard.

Mark has lived on the prairie his whole life.

He has over 40 years experience as a cash-crop farmer. Mark loves the idea of transitioning from annuals to perrenials and working outside. He's enjoying this great opportunity to work and play in the Elmaro family business. Mark would love to show you around the vineyard.

Lynita is the plumber in the family.

She worked in the Galesville area with her father, Bob. The dream of a sustainable, gravity operated winery is real to Lynita. She enjoys watching the grapes develop and creating products like wine, juice, and jelly. Watch the website for these products and the progress forward. Making the familys dream a reality.

Cameron is a real people person.

Graduating from the University of Wisconsin Stout with a major in Hospitality & Tourism Management, he is currently a concierge and assistant-manager at The Saint Paul Hotel located in St. Paul, Minnesota. Despite being away from Trempealeau, he makes regular trips to help with vineyard and family projects and also maintains the vineyard’s website.

Laura is the chemistry person.
She graduated from UW-Madison with a BS in Biochemistry in 2003 and is now at UW-La Crosse as the Chemistry Lab Manager.  Laura's currently enrolled in an Enology certificate through DMACC in hopes to create some exceptional wine from our grapes in the years to come.  Laura loves to be involved in something so beautiful with her whole family.  Any time left over, Laura is found playing with her husband, Todd, and three year old daughter, Ava.

Todd loves the outdoors.
Todd has an Associate degree in Marketing and is a graduate of Winona State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. He is currently teaching elementary school in Winona, MN, while also developing a marketing plan for Elmaro Vineyards.  In his spare time Todd enjoys spending time with his family, outdoors and tending the grapes.

Ava is the comic relief.

She is four years old and will hopefully be running the vineyard and winery in 40 years.  She loves to learn about the grapes whenever we are out in the vineyard.  She has even brought her preschool class at daycare for a field trip to see how grapes grow!
