January’s Artist at Elmaro: Marc TeRonde

This is another “must see” in the crush pad at Elmaro! Marc carves beautiful images from wood. His work will be on gallery display (not for sale) during the month of January.

This is another “must see” in the crush pad at Elmaro!  Marc carves beautiful images from wood.  His work will be on gallery display (not for sale) during the month of January.

Marc will be at the winery on Saturday, January 21st from 1 pm until 4 pm to talk with you about his work.  In Marc’s own words:

“My grandfather was a woodcarver and influenced me in the art at an early age. I was a high school science teacher from 1960 to 1994.  During that time I occasionally took classes and seminars in various aspects of woodcarving.  After my retirement from teaching, carving became a passion and I spent hours each day making wood-chips and sometimes teaching woodcarving classes. I occasionally give my work as gifts but I tell recipients that I must reserve lifetime visiting rights.”
